Have you got your hands on a new SU Catalogue yet?

This year's Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalogue is so wonderful, you'd have to see to believe it!
Don't just take my word for it - you can either view it online (by clicking here) or call me today to get your own copy. There are so many exciting new products, let alone new stamp sets.

One of the new products that I'm anxious to try out is the new "Distressing Essentials" Tool Kit. If you're like me and love the vintage/antique look that is so hot right now, then you're going to want this kit! The ink spots in this kit are: Tea Stain, Charcoal, Mahogany and Navy. It's amazing what happens when you ink up the applicator/stamp, add a light spritzing of water then rub on paper - magic happens!

118762 Price: $25.95

Another great new item I can't wait to play with is the 'Elegant Lines' embossing folder.

Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Embossing Folder creates a deeply embossed image on card stock and paper.

The die embosses one side of the paper and debosses the other side, so you can use either side, depending on the look you want to achieve.

You can emboss an entire card front edge-to-edge or create a large embossed image!

■ Designed to cut through one sheet of paper or card stock at a time
■ Use with Big Shot machine, standard cutting pads, and multipurpose platform
■ Die size: 4-1/2" x 5-3/4"
#119277 $10.95

Here's another new product that has a lot of us super excited: Chantilly Crochet Trim!

1/2 Inch Crochet Trim Chantilly 118480
Price: $9.50

Add vintage charm to your projects with this beautiful, high-quality crochet trim. Tie it, dye it, knot it, gather it, or stitch it--with 5 yards in each package, you’ll have enough for many projects.

■ Approximately 5 yards per package
■ 100% cotton
■ Can be dyed using Classic Stampin' Ink
■ 1/2" wide

Holey moley! It's going to a fun crafting year, lemme tell ya! (Just wait until you see the classes I have in store for you! Not to mention projects for stamp clubs and workshops!!!) Check out this sample, using the new "Greeting Card Kids" stamp set (one of my new FAVORITE stamp sets!)

LOVE IT! Notice the music background? That is the new "Newsprint" Designer Series Paper. This card will be featured in my upcoming "Vintage Christmas" class. Stay tuned for details.

Stamp Clubs - my stamp clubs have taken a summer break and will resume in the fall. Please contact me if you'd like to join a club or create your own with 5 of your friends. Here are a couple of cards from June's clubs where I taught the 'Reflection Technique"

This was made with the "WANTED" stamp set, now retired. This is a super easy and fast technique that you will love!

Step 1) Stamp your image on the top half of your cardstock.
Step 2) Stamp the same image onto a cellophane bag, being careful not to let it slide on the slick surface. Also, make sure that you're not stamping on the seam of the bag.
Step 3) Turn the bag over so the stamped image is on the underside. Position it over your cardstock so that it lines up with the image above, but only reversed.
Step 4) Place the bag onto your cardstock and rub over the image with your hand, being careful not to slide the bag around.
Step 5) Gently pull the bag off the cardstock and you should see your reverse image under the original image.
Voila!

Here's another card I made using one of my long time favorite sets (retired for years, but I still use it often!)

I cased this from a card online (sorry, I can't find the link to share with you). I colored this with my aqua painter and ink pads.

Lastly, a cool idea I also found on the fabulous web that I HAVE to share with you - check out the sponges:

Is this a fantastic idea, or WHAT?

I've been cutting up my sponges into eighths and using the Round Tab Punch to the 'handle. For those of you that enjoy sponging as much as I do, I just know you'll appreciate this great tip!

HAPPY STAMPING!
