Hello and welcome to my little space in the blogging world! I have been passionate about rubber stamping since 1985 and I love it as much today as I did back then! Originally from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, I now make my home in Nova Scotia. April 10th, 2017 marks my 15 year anniversary with Stampin' Up! and I've been blessed by this company and my business more than words can say. I've been fortunate to have earned amazing Grand Vacations, Founder's Circle Retreats (for the top 100 demonstrators in the USA and top 20 in Canada), and a member of the Team Canada strategic group. If you would like to purchase Stampin' Up! products you can shop online (within CANADA) through my website HERE. I hope my blog inspires you in some way - whether it be stamping, crafting, trying a new recipe or something all together new - enjoy! ~ Tina
Hi Friends! Today's card features a technique that has been around for ages but so many stampers either forget how to do it - and then there are many who have yet to even try it. The technique I'm referring to is called "Masking". It's an oldie but a goodie, easy but still a "WOW". You can do this technique with practically any stamp - think flowers, trees, animals, hearts, etc. You can create multiple images with masking - or you can even build scenes using this technique. The sky is the limit. For my card I used the Canada Goose image from the Wetlands stamp set and I in this video I'll show how I added a second bird, behind the first one:
