Embossed Blendabilites

Hi Friends! HAPPY MONDAY! I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  My weekend was super duper busy, getting everything ready for convention.  I made over 100 cards for swaps as well as some gifts for members of my Serene Stampers team who will be going to Salt Lake City too.  I have 11 gals coming and half of them have never been to a Stampin' Up! Convention before.  I swear I'm almost more excited to see them experience it for the first time than anything else! LOL  I'm also really looking forward to seeing all my friends from Canada and the US - it's going to be great.

Okie doke.  Let's get on with the show.  Today's card was pretty fun to make.  I wanted to break out my Blendabilities markers and start playing with them.  Instead of just using them to colour inside a line stamp, I decided to try my hand with an experiment first.  I simply inked up the Congrats from the Bravo stamp set using Versamark ink and stamped it onto Blasic Black Cardstock.  Then I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set.  Next I simply coloured on top of the image using the Blendabilities!  If you know me at all, then you know that "Glitter" is my middle name.  So of course I had to grab my 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds to add some sparkle!  I can see LOTS and LOTS of fun possibilites with this technique!
I also made a video with this technique and I used Blackberry Bliss card stock instead of Basic Black:

Enjoy the day and HAPPY STAMPING!
