Quick Gift Pouch

Hi! I've surfaced from shoveling the snow long enough to create a video for you today! And yes, our part of Nova Scotia was one of the worst areas hit with snow - almost 60cm! Here's a photo I just took of my hubby, who finished shoveling the walkway to our vehicles (which aren't going to be going anywhere, anytime soon)...

This time last year there was hardly any snow at all! Another storm front is heading our way this weekend. Not sure if we're going to get more rain than snow. I sure hope it thaws slowly though, otherwise the flooding in the Atlantic provinces could be pretty bad. Will keep you posted! I had to look at some photos of our home without all the snow as a reminder of what it looks like with green grass and flowers....
This really is a little piece of Heaven....
Tomorrow is the first official day of Spring, so I hope Mother Nature pulls up her socks and get's crackin' on making it LOOK and feel like it!

In the meantime, let's get back to today's project! Have you ever made one of these gift pouches before?

Soooo fast and easy. This has been one of my stand-by projects for years at all my workshops and everyone loves it. It's great because you don't need many supplies to make it and you can embellish as much or as little as you like.
