Hello and welcome to my little space in the blogging world! I have been passionate about rubber stamping since 1985 and I love it as much today as I did back then! Originally from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, I now make my home in Nova Scotia. April 10th, 2020 marks my 18 year anniversary with Stampin' Up! and I've been blessed by this company and my business more than words can say. I've been fortunate to have earned amazing Grand Vacations, Founder's Circle Retreats (for the top 100 demonstrators in the USA and top 20 in Canada), and a member of the Team Canada strategic group, as well as our first ever Demonstrator Council in Canada in 2019/2020. If you would like to purchase Stampin' Up! products you can shop online (within CANADA) through my website HERE. I hope my blog inspires you in some way - whether it be stamping, crafting, trying a new recipe or something all together new - enjoy! ~ Tina

Swirly Bird Quick Card
Hi Friends. Today's card is one of the make and takes that I had at this past weekend's "New Catalogue Kick Off Party". I personally LOVE this card - it's so quick and easy! I also love Mary Engelbreit and this layout reminds me of her charming style. I cased this card from Sandi MacIver, another awesome Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and just tweaked it. The Swirly Bird stamp set and coordinating framelits were part of a preorder that demonstrators were able to place this month and I'll be honest - at first it really didn't appeal to me. Well, let me just tell ya, once I started playing with it (as well as seeing all the other ideas on pinterest) I am hooked on these stamps! They are incredibly versatile and I know it's going to be one of my favourite stamp sets.
Tomorrow the new annual catalogue goes live - so exciting! I've mailed out catalogues to those of you who have placed online orders with me; it should arrive this week. If you would like a catalogue please contact me - you will also be able to view that catalogue online tomorrow, via my website HERE.
So let's get back to today's card! For the video I used Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride and Emerald Envy for the ink. The sentiment is from "Tin of Cards" stamp set.
The card below was one of the make and take projects from my "New Catalogue Kick Off" party this past weekend. We used Blushing Bride and Mint Macaroon (my favourite colour combo for this card) and sequins instead of rhinestones. The sentiment is from "You've Got This" stamp set.
