Merry Music Christmas Cards

When I was in Salt Lake City last month my dear friend (and roomie), Kay Smith, showed me some gorgeous cards she had made. Being in the middle of renovations that must be completed prior to Christmas (3 days - yikes!) I needed to quickly make and send the last of my Christmas cards, but was quite pressed for time. That's when I remembered the Christmas cards that Kay had made. They were simple but stunning and I know they'd be quick to create and I needed 30 more cards (all in all I've made and sent out close to 100 Christmas cards this year to friends, family, customers and my team).  So here are the last of my cards, tweaked from the lovely ones Kay had made. I love how someone else's card can be a 'starting point' for new inspiration!

Kay used Glitter card stock (Silver #135314 / Gold #133719) and the Musical Instruments Framelits Dies (pg 25 Holiday Catalogue) on her cards. As I don't have these dies I had to improvise. My friend and fellow demonstrator, Tracy Elsom, is currently visiting me and she suggested that I use the big snowflake from the Seasonal Layers die - I said "What big snowflake die???" Low and behold, this gorgeous die slipped right past me and while I have been loving the Seasonal Layers die, I had not even noticed this snowflake!
So thanks to my friends Kay and Tracy for the inspiration I needed to quickly finish the last of my Christmas cards yesterday so that I can get them in the mail today.

Supplies Used:

Every customer who orders through my online store will receive a PDF tutorial, featuring 12 beautiful card projects. Every project sheet includes measurements, step-by-step instructions and supplies list.

Simply enter this month's special host code (shown on the red banner, above) prior to submitting your order through my website. If your order is $200 or more DO NOT enter the host code so that you will also receive your stamping rewards and I will then send you the PDF tutorial. All qualified orders will receive the download by e-mail.

Oh, and here's a tip - don't start house renovations 2 weeks prior to Christmas. We have a lot of friends and family coming over during the holidays and we wanted to get the downstairs recreation room finished and ready (with the bar, air-hockey table, dart board, etc) in time for Christmas. Well, we're almost done but holey cow it's been a lot of work! LOL I am really excited to see it all come together though.

Starting tomorrow I'm going to take some time off from work to enjoy the holidays. I have scheduled blog posts for you with tutorials featuring new products from the 2018 Occasions and Sale-a-bration and even some sneak peek videos for you too! Remember, if you live in Canada (and don't already have a demonstrator) and you would like to get copies of the new catalogue and SAB brochure, please contact me and I'll pop them in the mail for you!

Enjoy the day and Happy Stamping!
