Charming Cafe Happy Wishes Card

Hi Friends! Well, we DID indeed get a big ole winter storm yesterday. The good news is we didn't get the predicted 25 cm of snow - in fact, we woke up to mostly green grass today! Thousands of homes here in the Maritime Provinces are without power, but we didn't lose ours, so I'm quite grateful about that. So far, our winter weather has been quite tame, in my opinion. However, that was the same pattern last year, and Mother Nature made up for it with lots of snow storms in January and February, so I know the white stuff is coming at some point. I'm ready to start planning my vegetable garden again, but Spring doesn't make it's arrival here in Nova Scotia until end of May/beginning of June (ugh) so I'll just pass the days planning card projects instead!

Today's card was a quick one to make and it's the first time I used the new "Charming Cafe" stamp set, which is absolutely lovely. I used my aqua painter and ink pads to colour the images and the sentiment is from the "Happy Wishes" 2018 Sale-a-bration stamp set. It's hard to tell in the photos but I used the Clear Wink of Stella on all the stamped images too, which looks so pretty. Isn't that ribbon pretty too? It's also new and you can find it on page 13 of the 2018 Occasions catalogue (Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon).
