"Band Together" Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! I hope you had a nice weekend! Today's tutorial was created by Pat Mayer for our Leaders Project Group and I love the simplicity of it, as well as the red flowers on the black Buffalo Check background. This would a great card layout for any occasion, simply by changing out the sentiment. Imagine switching up the colour of the flowers to create a set of cards for a gift!

  • Whisper White Card Stock: - 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, 5 1/2 x 4 1/4”, 5 1/4” x 4” (for inside), 1” x 3”
  • Basic Black Card Stock: 4 1/4” x 11” (Scored at 5 1/2”)
  • Solid Baker’s Twine: 6”

  1. Position the Buffalo Check stamp on the Stamparatus plate and stamp on the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of Whisper White card stock. You may need to Ink several times to get a crisp image. Trim to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and adhere to the Basic Black card base.
  2. Place the large floral stamp from Band Together on the Stamparatus and stamp it on one of the 5 1/2 x 4 1/4” pieces of Whisper White. Color with the Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut. Add a bow around the flower stem as shown.
  3. Stamp the sentiment on the small piece of Whisper White and punch with the Triple Banner punch.
  4. Place Stampin’ Dimensionals on the floral image and adhere to the card base. Do the same with the sentiment piece.
  5. Place the remaining piece of Whisper White card stock inside. Decorate if desired.
