"Winter Woods Pizza Box" Tutorial

Hi Friends! Tonight is my stamp club and I'll be showing everyone a super fun technique, which I'll be sharing with you too, in a day or two. The technique is an oldie but a goodie - so much so that I lost track of time and stamped until past 10pm last night (I couldn't stop!). Suffice to say, I have cards and stamping paraphernalia all over my desk at the moment. So I'd best have a tidy up and finish my club preparations. In the meantime, I've got a tutorial to share with you, created by Sherry Roth. Sherry created this super sweet box for our "Leaders Project Sheet Group" this month. This little pizza box would be ideal for gift-giving this holiday season!

  • Stamp Sets: Winter Woods (151359)
  • Card Stock: Whisper White (100730); Sahara Sand (121043); Basic Gray (121044); Pear Pizzazz (131201); Old Olive (100702); Vellum Cardstock (101856)
  • Stamp Pads: Sahara Sand(147117); Basic Gray (149165)
  • Misc: Mini Pizza Boxes (144645); Leaf Punch (144667); In the Woods Dies (147919); Timeless Label Punch (149516); Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); Silver Metallic Thread (138402); Dimensionals (104430); Snail Adhesive (104332); Mini Glue Dots (103683)
  • Basic Gray: 3 3/8” x 3 3/8”
  • Sahara Sand: 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”
  • Whisper White: Scrap for greeting
  • Vellum: leaf punch (x2)
  • Pear Pizzazz: branch die from In the Woods (x2)
  • Old Olive: leaf die from In the Woods (x2)
  • Silver Thread: about 36”
  1. Assemble pizza box.
  2. Stamp the birch background, all across the sahara sand cardstock using the same colour ink.
  3. Add that to the center of the basic gray cardstock and that to the top of the pizza box.
  4. Stamp the greeting using basic gray ink onto the scrap of white cardstock and punch it out using the timeless label punch.
  5. Stamp the greeting again on white and cut out the word ‘season’.
  6. Using dimensionals add the fussy cut word over top of the punched greeting.
  7. Add adhesive behind the greeting. Wrap the thread around your fingers and add it to the back of the greeting. Mess it up a bit so it’s not perfectly round.
  8. Using mini glue dots layer the olive leaf onto one of the branched and then the vellum leaf on top of that. Add that to the back of thee greeting.
  9. Repeat this with the other shapes and add to the opposite corner of the greeting.
  10. Add that to the top of the pizza box. I used dimensionals under the greeting and mini glue dots under the leaves because of the different layers.
  11. Add three rhinestones.

Enjoy the day & HAPPY STAMPING!

  1. This is just darling, Tina. I love the greenery and how it gives the box added dimension.
