It's Your Day "Birds & Branches" Card

Hi Friends! Last week I held my first 'in-person' card class in MONTHS. I only had four of my regular customers/friends attend - right now I'm not comfortable opening it up to more. But I must say, it was WONDERFUL to spend time together, stamp and visit. Our hearts were full afterwards. This is one of the things I love about stamping and how it has brought amazing women into my life and the joy this hobby brings to all of us. We made six cards, two each of three designs, and this is one of the cards:

I am really liking the "Happiest of Birthdays" stamp set and am so glad that I got it. It has wonderful sentiments, great fonts and I love the sizes of the stamps in this set too.

Everyone at my class commented on this card layout and how it can be used with so many stamps, colours and Designer Series Paper. In case you're wondering, the Whisper White layer measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/2" and the strip of DSP is 1" x 5 1/2".

As a side note; if you love rhubarb as much I do - you'll want to make this cake: Rhubarb-Strawberry Coffee Cake. This has been one of my all-time VERY favourite coffee cakes (I discovered the recipe over 20 years ago) and it has always been a massive hit. I made it for our card class last week and my friends LOVED it! If you make this, I know you'll enjoy it too. This would be a fabulous cake with other fruits too.
