“A Good Man” Father’s Day Card

Hi Friends! One of the new stamp sets that I got in my 2019-2020 preorder was “A Good Man”. This is such a lovely stamp set:

I knew the first card I’d make with this set would be for my Dad, for Father’s day. I cased the card sample from the catalogue, adding a few different tweaks of my own:

I’ve never had a stamp set that affected me as emotionally as this one has. Growing up, for a few years when I was little, it was just my dad, my brother and I. So on the front of this card, I imagine it being me in my dad’s arms, and the image stamped inside the card is my dad with my brother:


I’ll be honest, my eyes got a wee bit wet and blurry as I made this card, whilst memories tossed through my mind, my heart overflowing with gratitude for my dad. I can’t wait to give this card to him – I know he’s going to love it.
