Animal Outings Card Tutorial

  • Stamp
    Pads

    – Gray Granite (147118)
  • Misc.
    –Neutrals Designer Paper Stack (149614) Gray Granite Woven Ribbon
    (147656) Layering Circles Dies (141705) Wink of Stella (141897)
    Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Duo (144599) Mango Medley Stampin’
    Blends Duo (147945) Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends due (149537) Aqua
    Painter (103954)

Measurements:

  • Gray
    Granite Cardstock 11”
    x 5.5”
  • Gray
    Granite Cardstock
    5” x 3”
  • Neutrals
    Designer paper Gray Granite 5” x 5 ½”
  • Whisper
    White Cardstock 4” x
    5.25”
  • Gray
    Granite Cardstock for die cut circle and greeting
  • Whisper
    White cardstock for die cut circle
  • Scrap
    of Coast Cabana for stitched label die 

Instructions:

  1. Score
    and fold Gray Granite Cardstock (11” x 5.5” piece) in half
  2. Texturize
    5” x 3” piece of Gray Granite with Hammered Metal embossing
    folder
  3. Adhere
    Gray Granite Gingham print Neutrals DSP overlapping the 5” x 3”
    piece of embossed Gray granite so that it is 4” wide total
  4. Cut
    length of Gray Granite ribbon 5.5” and wrap around combined piece
    from #3 – adhering ends behind – I like to use tear and tape to
    secure the edges
  5. Adhere
    elements form step 4 to card front
  6. Stamp
    Rhino image with Gray granite on whisper white
  7. Use
    aqua painter filled with water to “soften” the edges of the
    images, bleeding the ink
  8. Add
    additional color to stamped image with Gray Granite, Pumpkin Pie and
    Mango Medley Stampin’ Blends
  9. Die
    cut Rhino image with Layering Circles dies
  10. Die
    cut Gray Granite Cardstock with Layering Circles die larger than
    stamped image die cut piece
  11. Layer
    Stamped Rhino image onto Gray Granite circle
  12. Stamp
    Greeting on scrap piece of Gray Granite cardstock, use snips to
    create notched end on right side of greeting
  13. Add
    Layered Rhino Stamped image to cardfront
  14. Add
    greeting as seen in photo
  15. Adhere
    4” x 5.25” piece of whisper white to inside of card
  16. Add
    greeting of choice and/or hand written message to inside of card
