NEW! “Undefined” Stamp Carving Kit!
NEW! “Spread the Joy” Stamp Set!
Hi Friends! Well, I think I’m finally back on track with my regular routine. Ever since I arrived home from the awesome Stampin’ Up! Convention in Utah I’ve been cruisin’ at full speed (and then some).
Aside from re-claiming my vegetable garden, which took almost a full day of weeding…
…I’ve also had some fantastic events that have kept me real busy this past week.
Our ‘Serene Stampers’ Stamping Night and Team Meeting was super fun because I was able to share my Convention experiences and news with everyone. I also demonstrated with some awesome new product kits from Stampin’ Up!, including the new “Tag a Bag Gift Box” kit, the new Mini Muslin Bags and the “Magnificent Maple” stamp. Our make and take projects were made with the new “Real Red Goodie Gear” Simply Created Kit and the “Oh Goodie” stamp set (available August 1st):

All the beautiful samples and card swaps I received at Convention were on display for everyone to see (and drool over). My team meetings are a ton of fun and we always have prizes and raffles too. This month the raffle gift was the new ‘Festive Flurry Bundle‘ from the upcoming “Seasonal Celebrations” holiday catalogue.
This was a card I made last month, using the Festive Flurry bundle and the emboss resist technique. I also used the new ‘Merry Little Christmas’ stamp from the Seasonal Celebrations catalogue. |
I predict that the ‘Festive Flurry’ stamp set and coordinating framelits is going to be super duper popular and if you’re not a demonstrator and haven’t seen it yet – trust me – you’re gonna LOVE it! Suffice to say, Cathy T. was DELIGHTED to win that bundle!
While I can’t show you the actual stamps and accessories from the “Seasonal Celebrations” catalogue (because they aren’t available until August 1st), I CAN show you some samples. Each month at our team meeting we have a card swap, and the theme this month was to feature anything from the “Seasonal Celebrations”. Here are some samples made by my fabulous “Serene Stampers” group:

Another event I had this past weekend was my annual ‘Post Convention Party and Holiday Sneak Peek‘. All my Convention swaps were on display so that my customers could take photos to their hearts content. I also demonstrated with lots of new product – both from the recently launched annual catalogue, as well as the “Seasonal Celebrations” catalogue.
One of my demonstrations featured a Convention make take, using our new “Tag a Bag” kit and the “Hello Lovely” stamp set. The bag contained a sweet set of coordinating note cards and envelopes – this would make a perfect gift for someone special! |
Everyone got to make one of these sweet cards, using the new ‘Tag it’ Stamp Set. $3 from each set sold is donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. If you would like to buy your own “Tag It” stamp set and make a difference for families who have children with serious illness, please click HERE. |
This was the other make and take project that everyone created, using the new ‘Festive Flurry Stamp Set and Framelit’ bundle. |
I gave away lots of door prizes at the Post Convention Party, including ink pads, bolts of ribbon and even a $45 gift certificate (won by Margie F.). So I think it’s safe to say a good time was had by all!
My next event is the first in my “Christmas-in-July” stamp a stack classes which runs through to November. Participants will receive product from the “Seasonal Celebrations” in each class, to use on their cards and then to take home immediately afterwards so that they can keep on creating and having fun! The first class will feature the new “Joy to the World” stamp set. If you’d like to attend the Christmas-in-July Stamp-a-Stack class on July 31st just send me an email at serenestamper@gmail.com. The next Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class will be on August 30th; click here for more details and to RSVP.
