Another SNEAK PEEK “Magnolia Lane” Card Tutorial!

May 24, 2019 1 Comment

Hi Friends! Today I’ve got another card that features a sneak peek of the new “Magnolia Lane” Designer Series Paper (available June 4th, in our upcoming 2019/20 catalogue).  I also used the “Label Me Pretty” stamp and coordinating punch on this card and I think it really compliments it!  I hope you enjoy today’s tutorial:

Measurements:
  • Mossy
    Meadow: 11” x 4 ¼” , 5” x ¾”
  • Petal
    Pink: 4” x 5 ¼” , 5” x 1” , 3” x 2” ( x 2)
  • Early
    Espresso: 5” x 1”
  • Whisper
    White: 3” x 2”
  • Magnolia
    Lane Designer Series Paper: 3 ¾” x 5”
Instructions:

  1. Fold
Mossy Meadow card stock in half to create the card base.
  2. Glue
Petal Pink card stock on front. Glue Magnolia Lane Designer Series
Paper layer on top of the Petal Pink card stock.
  3. Cut
Early Espresso card stock with the Decorative Ribbon punch so that you have two strips. Glue behind the Petal Pink 5” x 1” strip.
Glue the Mossy Meadow strip along the centre. Wrap ribbon across,
securing in the back, and glue to card.
  4. Ink the sentiment from “Label Me Pretty” with Early Espresso ink pad and stamp onto 3” x 2” Whisper White card stock. Colour flowers and leaves with blender pen and Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow ink pads.
Add dazzling diamonds glitter to the flowers.
  5. Cut
the two pieces of 3” x 2” of Petal Pink card stock with the
Pretty Label Punch. Cut one in half lengthwise and the second
piece across the width. Glue behind the stamped label to mat and adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Make
a bow and adhere to strip on the card.
  7. Place
two rhinestones on the stamped label.
  8. Add
a bit of glue to the centre of flowers on the Designer Series Paper and
sprinkle on a bit of Dazzling Diamond glitter to finish the card.

AvatarI joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
