Until yesterday, I’d never made a “Bay Window Card” and I just love it! Now I’m sure that many of you have made this type of card fold before, but perhaps you’ve forgotten about them. Either way, if you would like to make a Bay Window card for the first time, or if today’s tutorial is simply a reminder of this truly FUN FOLD card for you, I hope you enjoy creating one of these!

I used my “Happy Hedgehog” stamp set (I didn’t use the coordinating punch), as well as scrap bits and pieces on my desk!

The inspiration and tutorial (below) are from Terri Brumagim:

- Card Base: 4.25 x 11”, Score along the long side at 3/8”, 1-7/8”, 3-5/8”, 5-1/8” and 5-1/2”. Burnish your folds and start to create the bay window shape.
- After folding card in half, you will have the small inside fold. Put a strip of Tear and Tape adhesive in the smallest section between the score lines.
- Front: Attach the (2) pieces of contrasting cardstock that measure 4-1/8 x 1/4″ to the small sections at either side of your bay window.
- Now attach the 2 DSP panels. Using the Basic White 1-5/8” x 4-1/8”, stamp Thank You using the Polished Pink Ink, adhere to the center panel.
- Fussy Cut your pansy and 3 leaves from the Pansy Petals DSP. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the bottom center Basic White CS. Adhere to the center panel.
- Inside: Using the 3-1/4” x 4-1/8” Basic White CS, stamp sentiment with Polished Pink ink and adhere to middle.
- Adhere DSP to the far right.
- Using the Polished Pink Scrap & the smallest tag from Stitched So Sweetly Dies, run thru the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653). Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the inside DSP panel in the middle (this is used as the stopper).
- Final touch is to add 1 jewel to the center of the Pansy and 3 to the stopper.
Enjoy the day & HAPPY STAMPING!
