Hi Friends! I hope you had a nice weekend. Mine was BUSY! I’ve spent the last week painting (bedroom and kitchen) and finished last night. Paint is a magical thing, isn’t it? It just transforms a room. The kitchen was a bit ‘Cajun Craze’ and now it’s a soft grey, called “Northern Reflections” with a beautiful cream trim called “Dairy”. I love these colours so much that I used them in our bedroom too. I am a huge fan of Home Hardware’s “Beauti-tone” paint, especially the “National Parks of Canada” colour line, which is what both colours are from and you can check them out here. I think I may pick some colour inspiration for my card designs from the paint collections! Anywho, I’m soooo happy with the end result of the painting – tons of work, but worth it. Now I need to spend some time on new flowers beds that I put in earlier this summer, give them a bit of shape and put on some bark mulch – which is on today’s agenda. I also have a massive amount of green beans in the garden that need to get picked, blanched and frozen. Never a dull moment, but life is good!
Today’s card tutorial that I’m sharing with you was created by Angie Leach, from our ‘Leaders Project Group’. I absolutely LOVE the “Beautiful Friendship” set:
