Beautiful You Graduation Card Tutorial

Supplies:
  • Stamp set:
    Beautiful You Clear-Mount Stamp Set – 143637, Wood – 143004
  • Cardstocks:
    Whisper White– 100730, Basic Black – 121045
  • Stampin’ Pad:
    Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad – 132708
  • Mics:
    Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker – 100082, Pearl Basic Jewels –
    144219, Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine – 124262, Mini Glue Dots
    – 103683, Stampin’ Dimensionals – 104430, Basic Black Dark
    Stampin’ Blends – 147941
Measurements:
  • Whisper White 8½ x
    5½ score at 4¼ card base, 4¾ x 3½, ¾x 1½
  • Basic Black 5¼ x 4,
    5/8 x 5/8
Instruction:

  1. Stamp the girl and
    greeting using memento black ink onto the 4¾ x 3½ whisper white
    cardstock.
  2. Color the girl using
    basic black marker
  3. Adhere to the basic
    black then to the card base.
  4. Using about 5” of
    the whisper white backer twine tie a small loop at one end, cut the
    bottom loop and fray the fibres. Trim to 1” about ½ at the top
    from where you tie also ½ at the bottom.
  5. Adhere the tassel to
    the center of the 5/8 square basic black using a glue dot.
  6. Adhere on top of the
    girl head using dimensional.
  7. Using the dark black
    stampin’ blend color a pearl and adhere at the center of the hat
    on top of the backer twine.
  8. Roll
    the ¾ x 1½ piece of whisper white card stock tie with backer twine
    and adhere with glue dots.
