Best Bunny Card That Almost Went in the Bin

March 20, 2019 7 Comments

Hi Friends! Have you ever made a card that didn’t turn out quite the way you had planned and were tempted to toss it in the garbage? Well, that’s what nearly happened with the card I’m sharing with you today. I used the Best Bunny Bundle and Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper, which works super well together. However, I just wasn’t pleased with the end result. I thought I’d be clever and use the little ‘grass’ (?) stamp around the oval piece but to me, it looked like I just stamped a bunch of eyelashes! LOL I also wasn’t convinced the pattern of DSP I used behind the bunny was the best choice. So, after I finished doing all that I could to ‘save’ this card I decided I’d best just toss it. However, I had spent time and used too many fun products to justify throwing it away so instead the card was filed in a box with all my other stamped cards. This past Friday evening I had some friends over and my Best Bunny card was spotted – and they LOVED it! What the heck? So the only reason you’re even seeing this card is because my friends thought I should post it on my blog because they like it. Ahhh, the things I do for my friends – also, I didn’t have any other finished cards to post today LOL. So here you go…my Best Bunny card:

Best Bunny Bundle
This bundle and the Bunny Builder Punch are currently on back order but the stamp set is available to purchase.
Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper
FREE Sale-a-bration item with qualifying orders until March 31st, or while supplies last.

Tonight is my monthly “All Occasion Card Class” and I’ll share the cards we’re making with you tomorrow. One of the cards has a really fun fold that I’d never done before – I can’t wait to show you.

Thanks for stopping by ~ I hope you were inspired by today’s project and that you’ll visit again soon!

Enjoy the day & HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

So my style. I laughed out loud when I read you thought you stamped out outlashes. You're funny! One awesome, awesome card, saved by your girlfriends.

Not sure why my message of yesterday didn't go through. Sometimes I click "close" too early.

I'm absolutely in love with this card. The style is so me. So glad your friends convinced you to take it out of the garbage. You silly rabbit.

Beautiful card, but I have to agree about the paper behind the bunny. I personally can't look at it as it makes me dizzy.
I would give this card to a friend and be proud to have made it!
