It’s amazing how a little bit of paper and ribbon can create so many different cards. My “Serene Stampers” group began a new Creative Challenge last month and those who participated received the same thing: one piece of 3″x5″ Birch Bark paper from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit and a piece of our new 1″ Stitched Edge Cherry Cobbler Grosgrain Ribbon.
This kit is awesome ~ it’s all a matter of your own creativity! |

I hope you have a lovely weekend. Hubby and I will be moving our firewood into the woodshed today, to have it all stacked and ready for winter. And other than that I plan on working on some Christmas gifts. I’ve actually just learned how to crochet a shawl and I’m hooked! Literally! I’m having so much fun making it (it’s for my Grandma). And I’m also going to start making my Christmas cards this weekend. I have no idea what stamp set I’m going to use yet. There are so many nice ones to choose from. But I’m leaning towards Snow Day – that snowman is just too darn cute! Have you started making your Christmas cards yet? What stamp set are you using? Do you use the same set for all your cards or do you make them all different? I usually make mine all the same. I wish I had taken pictures of my Christmas cards over the years. I have made my own cards for Christmas – no joke – since 1985. That’s the year I discovered the world of rubber stamping and thank goodness my stamping has improved over the years. LOL But then again, so have the products, which make it so easy to create lovely cards and gifts. So once that wood is stacked, I’ll be putting on some music and spending some (much needed) time creating with my stamps! I hope you are able to do the same!
Enjoy the day and HAPPY STAMPING!
