Botanical Blooms Thank You Card

February 19, 2016 Leave a Comment

Happy Friday! This week went by sooo fast! We’ve also had some crazy weather. One day it was -22 and two days later it was +12.  So bizarre. But I’m not complaining because most of the snow has melted and I’m hoping we’ll have an early Spring. A friend of mine spotted some pussy willows during her walk, so I’m taking that as a good sign that Spring is right around the corner.

I made some more thank you cards this morning, for my customers who recently placed online orders. I love making thank you cards and popping them in the mail to show my appreciation for all of you who place orders with me. I’m incredibly grateful that you’ve chosen ME as your demonstrator!

The cards I made today are simple, one-layer cards and I used Botanical Blooms and One Big Meaning stamp sets. Both of these stamp sets are so awesome and I’m completely addicted to the One Big Meaning set – the scripts used on these stamps are just fabulous and just seem to add a big “WOW” to the cards!  The only technique I used was masking, but it sure is key to get the extra flowers and leaves peaking from behind the other images. A few rhinestones in the center of the big flowers added just the right amount of bling.

Do you stamp your envelopes too? I always do. I think it adds a nice touch and really makes for some fun, happy mail.  Once the recipient’s address is written on the envelope it’s ready for the mail. And remember, NOTHING beats getting a hand stamped card in the mail. So if you’re wondering what to do with all the cards you enjoy making, how about popping some in the mail to your friends and family ‘just because’? It will certainly make their day (and yours too!).

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
