Card in a Box Valentine

January 20, 2014 23 Comments

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend!  As promised, I made a video for you over the weekend (whilst enjoying a glass of vino) to show you how to make a lovely “Card in a Box”.  This was the project all my Stamp Club Members made this month and it was a big hit! Everyone’s came out different and unique and equally fabulous!  We filled our boxes with flowers and hearts for a Valentine theme but you could use any stamp set, punch, framelit or embellishment you want and it will work great!

This project is not difficult and really is a lot of fun to put it together so I encourage you to give it a whirl!  I first came across the “Card in a Box” idea this past November on Monica Gale’s blog and loved how she filled her “Card in a Box” with snowflakes.  Then I discovered Tanya Bell had recreated Monica’s project using different measurements so that you only need to use one piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock.  Big thanks to both these Stampin’ Up! demonstrators for their ideas and inspiration!  Remember, with the new Envelope Punch Board, you can create any size envelope so you can customise one for your ‘card in the box’ to tuck inside perfectly!

Ready to make some of these yourself? Of course you are!!!!

Supplies Used:

Enjoy the day and HAPPY STAMPING!

AvatarI joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
