Hi Friends!  Yesterday I did a guest post on my friend Frenchie’s blog and turns out it was a big hit.  The project was a Chalkboard Charger Plate and you can read all about here.

While you can use regular chalk for this project, I used the Chalk Marker from Stampin’ Up! so that my design would be permanent.

White Stampin’ Chalk Marker # 132133

I was asked by a number of people if I would do a video for this, so without further ado, here you go:

I used the “Best New Year” Digital Download and there are tons of other great downloads that you can use for this chalkboard technique.  Just click HERE to see them all.  And if you haven’t yet tried “My Digital Studio” (aka MDS) then you’ve simply GOT to give it a whirl! You can download it for a FREE 30 day trial!  There are also lots of fabulous MDS videos, tutorials, projects and more at www.mydigitalstudio.net  This software is really easy to use and I absolutely LOVE it.  I use MDS daily for my business and I also use it for scrapbooks, gifts, t-shirts, calendars and more.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and I’ve got another one to share with you that is perfect for home decor or even as a clothing or hair accessory! Intrigued? Well be sure to come on back for a visit and thanks for dropping by today.  I appreciate your time and I hope I’ve inspired you in some way.

Enjoy the day and HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
