Only 4 days left for SAB & Serene Stampers Soiree a Success!

March 28, 2011 1 Comment

Hi Everyone! I can’t believe Sale-a-Bration is almost over!  It’s been such a fun promotion – I know those of you who have received FREE SAB stamps have been enjoying the promotion for sure!  If you need to stock up on snail adhesive, card stock and your favorite accessories – NOW is the time to purchase them so that you can get your free stamps (a free set for every $60 spent).  If you’ve been wanting the Big Shot and/or the set of markers – NOW is the time to get them! You’ll get so much more for your money – and this promotion won’t come along again until next year.  Scroll through my previous posts to see the special packages I’ve put together – but hurry – offer ends on Thursday, March 31st!  (To save you time, just click on the links: Big Shot Package & Many Marvelous Markers Package)

This past weekend was my team’s (known as the ‘Serene Stampers) Quarterly Meeting – we had a blast!  We had demonstrations, card swaps, make & take projects, displays, show & tell, potluck dinner, door prizes and awards!  If you’d like learn more about becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and a part of my team, please don’t hesitate to contact me!  During Sale-a-Bration you’ll also receive an extra $60 Bonus Bundle with your starter kit!  Click here for details – be sure to watch the video too!

Here are some photos from our “Serene Stampers Soiree” Quarterly Meeting:

Cathy’s card swap, which won 1st prize! The flower is made with the Big Shot and the Fun Flowers (#121812) BigZ Die and the Frames Tulips Embossing Folder (#121809) – both featured in the current OCCASIONS Mini Flyer.
This was my card swap – I’m using all new product that’s not even ‘out’ yet! One of the (many) perks of being a demonstrator is being able to pre-order product and play with it before anyone else can! This card features new Designer Series Paper called “Paisley Petals” (which is GORGEOUS!), the new “Four Frames” stamp set (LOVE it!) and the Strength & Hope stamp set (STUNNING! And proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer Research!)….promotion starts April 1st! I’ll post all the details later this week.  Here’s the same card, but with a different piece of Paisley Petals DSP:

I love the words in the “Strength & Hope” stamp set and the frame stamps are GORGEOUS!  I’ll show more ‘sneak peaks’ throughout this week!
Close up of the butterfly and swirls from the Strength & Hope set.
Kim’s lovely card, using the Upsy Daisy stamp set (#111710) and new Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.
Kathy B’s stunning card!  Kathy used the “Nature’s Nest” stamp set (#113826) and now I’ve just got to get it too! Love it!
Marsha’s elegant card – love the DSP and the punches layered for the focal point.
Kathy M’s super sweet card using the Owl Punch – look at the clever ways Kathy made the balloons and the hat and the present.  SUPER CUTE!!!!
Rhonda’s adorable card using the Build a Cupcake punch (##121807) which is featured in the current Occasions Mini.  The red Glimmer Paper (#121790) for the cherry really added dazzle to Rhonda’s cards!
There were soooooo many beautiful samples on the display tables – here are some of them:
Kathy B’s tile coasters – aren’t they nice?!  What a great gift.
Holey WOW! Check out Misty’s pop-up card!  The stamp set Misty used is called “Totally Tool” (#113256).  This card is really awesome.
Misty also made some fab gift holders, which she made by recycling Tea containers! The two middle containers feature flowers that were both made with the Blossom Petals punch (#121808)!
 Kim’s amazing display – fantastic!
Cathy demonstrated a really cool card that I had never seen before – when you opened the card there was a pop-up slot for a gift card or even a photo! Ingenious! I can’t wait to make one of these!
Kim and I.  Kim demonstrated “Wax Paper Resist” technique that was really neat!  I’ll be trying that for sure! Videos of all the demonstrations will be available on our team website.  This website is exclusive for my team members only.  It is chock full of business tips and flyers, card and gift samples, templates and tutorials and videos.  If you become a member of my “Serene Stampers” group you will be given access to this great site too! Plus, you’ll receive the monthly “Stampin’ Success” magazine from Stampin’ Up! and sooooo much more!

Sweet Beth, waiting to work on her make and take project!
Misty & Marsha – lovely demonstrators from Fredericton.

Natasha, Leigh, Sam and Kathy! These ladies also drove a few miles to attend our Soiree and I’m so glad they did! One of the very best things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is the friendships that you will make through your business.
Allison and Rhonda.  Rhonda received an award for #2 top sales! Way to go Rhonda!
Evelynne & Cathy – gotta love those smiles!

Peggy, Beth and Kim use the Big Shot for the make and take project.

Peggy and Martine with their completed Make and Take card.
This is what I demonstrated and it was also the make and take project that I provided for everyone.  The metal sheets (roof flashing from the hardware store) went through the Big Shot, then texture was added to one flower with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and the top flower was stamped with Black Stazon.
This card featured the new (not yet released to the public) Strength & Hope Stamp Set and the Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper.

Some of my fabulous “Serene Stampers” – Rhonda, Kathy, Cathy, Me, Beth, Kathy and Leigh.
Cathy and I – not just a member of my downline, but a dear friend too.  Love ya, Cathy!
I would have to say that our Quarterly Meeting was a big success – thanks to everyone that attended! You’re a phenomenal group of ladies and it was great to be able to recognize your achievements – you all work so hard.  It’s incredibly exciting to watch your Stampin’ Up! business grow!
I hope everyone that visits my website was inspired by all the great samples I posted today…doesn’t it just make you want to CREATE?!  Enjoy the day and….

….HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
