No photo description available.

Today’s “Christmastime is Here” project tutorial was created by Trayce Bauer.

Supplies:
  • Stamp
    Sets

    –
    Christmastime
    Is Here Suite

    (153947)
  • Card
    Stock
    –
    Crumb Cake (120953);
  • Stamp
    Pads

    – Merry Merlot (147112); Versa Mark (102283); Crumb Cake (120953)
  • Misc.
    – Stampin’ Blends Cherry Cobbler Combo (144598); Shimmer Black
    Emboss Powder (149512); Heat Tool (129053); Paper Snips (103579);
Sponge Daubers (133773); Snail Adhesive (104332); Stampin’
Dimensionals (104430); Mini Glue Dots (10683); Items you’ll need
that are in the Bundled Suite of Products, Christmastime Is Here
Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, and Gold
    Shimmer Ribbon.
Measurements:
  • Crumb
    Cake Cardstock: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” for card base
  • Crumb
    Cake Cardstock: 4” x 5 ¼” for top layer
  • Crumb
Cake Cardstock: 2” x 3” approx. for sentiment
  • Christmastime
    Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper: 1 ½” x 5 ¼”
Instructions:

  1. Let’s
start off by rubbing your Crumb Cake Cardstock layer with your
embossing buddy. Then stamp the rose image with Versa Mark ink on
the front of the Crumb Cake Cardstock layer. Stamp the image more to
the left of the cardstock because we will be ripping away some of
    the right side.
  2. Sprinkle
Shimmer Black Emboss Power on the image and shake off excess. Heat
with heat tool and let it cool.
  3. Meanwhile,
stamp your sentiment in Merry Merlot ink on the small piece of Crumb
Cake Cardstock. Cut around the sentiment with Paper Snips then ink
the edges with Crumb Cake ink and a Sponge Dauber. This step is
optional, but it gives the card a vintage feel.
  4. Color
in the rose with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.

  5. Take
the layer with the rose and rip the right side towards you all the
way down to the bottom. Make sure you don’t tear more than 1 ½”
off or you will need a wider piece of designer paper for the card
    front.
  6. I
took my paper snips opened them up and drug the edge of one side
along the 3 other edges of the rose layer. I did this to give it a
worn look. You can also (I didn’t do this part) ink the edges of
the rose layer of cardstock with the Crumb Cake ink and sponge
    dauber for the vintage look.
  7. Now,
adhere the designer paper with snail adhesive to the card front
leaving a border around like the sample. Then, adhere the rose layer
with snail adhesive also leaving a border around the other three
    sides.
  8. Bundle
some Gold Shimmer Ribbon and attach to the card front as shown with
Mini Glue Dots in the middle where the sentiment will go.
  9. Attach
the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  10. Finish
the card off with a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
