Hi Everyone! We’ll we’re finally here in Disney World – and it’s hard to believe! Earning this incentive trip from Stampin’ Up! is definitely a dream come true! It wasn’t the best traveling day for us though – we had some challenges at the airport over an ESTA form we had no idea we needed (because my hubby is a British citizen) and thus missed our flight because of it. Instead of arriving in Florida at 11:35am, we arrived at 7:30pm and got to the Boardwalk Inn just before 9pm. We missed Stampin’ Up!’s first ‘Hospitality Evening’ but we’re just glad we made it here! It was a LONG day. The resort Stampin’ Up! has put us in is beautiful – it’s all set in an early Atlantic seaside theme. Our room is awesome, complete with a nice balcony.
We went for a walk along the Boardwalk, which was lovely. The
weather is nice and warm and it was so relaxing to hear all the evening
songs of frogs, ducks and other critters along the water and brush.
There are gardenia trees here too, with the most amazing big flowers,
which makes the air sweet with their scent. It sure didn’t take us long
to unwind, that’s for sure! We shared a plate of delicious nachos at
ESPN restaurant and bar and by the time we walked back to our hotel room
we were feeling pretty content.
Stampin’ Up! has already begun
spoiling us too; I received a super great tote bag – tres Disney – and
our name is even embroidered on the front. Inside it was filled with
treats!
Must get to sleep – it’s past 1am and the alarm
is set for 6. Our day starts with a breakfast with Stampin’ Up! then
we’re being treated to the Monsters Inc. comedy show before the park
opens and then we’re free to hit the pavement – I’m so excited!!!
