Hi Friends! HAPPY FRIDAY! Did you know that every Friday I host a “Mystery Stamping Hour” in my FaceBook group? It is a LOT of fun and I’d love to have you join us. All the steps for making a card are posted and it’s a nice relaxing and casual way to make a card. Here’s a card I made from a Mystery Stamping Hour a couple of weeks ago, using the “Drapery Fold”, also known as a “Curtain Fold”:
I used three Sale-a-bration stamp sets on my card: A Touch of Ink, Berry Blessings and Heal Your Heart”. This is a really easy card fold too. Here are the steps:
Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper to measure 4″ x 11 1/2″ and score at 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 10.
Cut diagonally from the 3″ point across to the 11 1/2″ end, leaving approx. 1″ – this doesn’t have to be perfect for this fold to work!
Fold on the score lines in mountains and valleys, adding adhesive to hold down the folds. That’s it! Wrap a piece of ribbon around the top if you like, or use as is on the front of your card. The rest is all about decorating!
