Hi Friends! Last week I was looking for a layout to use in my weekly Mystery Stamping Hour and somehow I stumbled across a card I’d made back in 2018:
To make this card I used a sketch (from Operation Write Home) and a colour combination challenge I played with my “Serene Stampers” team. I LOVE this card! You can see the original post HERE.
Using the same sketch, I also thought that a colour combo would be fun to try in my Mystery Stamping hour, so that’s what we did! Here are the colours I chose:
I used the “So Much Love” stamp set and pulled in the colours using my water painter. I enjoy creating a card alongside everyone else during my Mystery Stamping Hour, so I didn’t spend a lot of time making sure the ink blending was perfect. Also, I completely forgot that the embossing folders I used (Wrapped in Texture, from our Holiday catalogue) retired.
Every Friday at 1 pm AST I host my Mystery Stamping Hour in my FaceBook group. It’s not a live video, instead, I post the steps and this is the way I’ve been doing it for years and it’s always been a bit hit.
