Hi Friends! I have to admit, I really enjoyed making today’s card (I think I always say that!). Probably because embossing was involved and even after allllll the years that I’ve been stamping it still WOW’s me.  And if you haven’t tried embossing white onto Crumb Cake card stock, you’ve got to give it a go!  Because once you add your colour, which I did using ink pads and my aqua painter, the results are stunning:

To make this card I first stamped the Swallowtail butterfly onto Crumb Cake and embossed in white.  I know the butterfly becomes hidden behind the front panel but that’s ok – I just wanted a bit of design in white to peek out from behind.  Then I stamped the swirls and flowers from Everything Eleanor and also embossed in white.  I added colour by squeezing my ink pads to get ink onto the inside lid and used that ‘puddle’ of ink with my aqua painter.  The birthday greeting is from the “Wetlands” stamp set.

Supplies Used:
Table built using Stampin’ Up! Product Table Builder from The Crafty Owl.

Enjoy the day and HAPPY STAMPING!

At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
