And I just HAVE to have something Christmasy on today’s post! Last month’s Stampin’ Success magazine (a monthly magazine for SU demos) had a great Scrapbook page on their ‘online extra’ features. I love it so much I think I may have to use the same template for each upcoming holiday! Quick, easy and beautiful!

Our artist used different Stampin’ Up! products for a fun variation of this technique on our Peace on Earth page. First, she used our Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series paper as the base. Then, instead of using ink and a brayer for the last step, she covered the card stock generously with Silver Foil Smooch Spritz. When she wiped the excess ink from the embossed image, she also wiped it off the glossy design of the Specialty Designer Series paper, revealing the script background. The result is a wonderfully worn-looking, shimmery image that looks like it was professionally printed.
That’s it for me – I’m off to stamp my thank you cards to tuck into this month’s orders and then I’m hittin’ the road to deliver them! Enjoy the day and in this hectic season, remember to BREATH deeply and savor each moment.
HAPPY STAMPING!
PS – during these busy days, you may want a quick, no fuss meal idea. Well, lemme tell ya; I’ve found THAT meal and it will blow your socks off! It is sooooooo good! And incredibly easy – I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out because it was three ingredients in the slow cooker – but hubby and I were WOWED! Check out my recipe for Tina’s Bandito Beef by clicking the tab at the top of the page. You can thank me later. *wink*
