From My Heart Trio Gift Set

 Hi Everyone! Today’s post is all about ‘enjoying the passing of time‘ – the secret of life.  Or so my stamp says, in the “From My Heart” stamp set.  I happen to think it’s true.  I also think it’s all about ‘being in the now’ and appreciating the present moment. Sometimes it’s easier said than done, but it’s something I personally try to be aware of and practise.  And I can tell you one thing for sure, when I’m stamping and creating, I am absolutely enjoying the passing of time.  How could I not?  Everything about stamping is relaxing and fun.  And being creative has proven to lower your blood pressure.  So you see, stamping is cheap form of therapy AND it’s good for your health!  So if you need more of that, click HERE to shop at my online store (also therapeutic and fun!) Today’s project is one I demonstrated this past week at one of my stamp clubs.  All the ladies loved it – including me.  But then again – it could be because I absolutely LOVE this stamp set.  It’s my favourite out of the whole new 2012-2013 Stampin’ Up! catalogue! I have a lot of ideas of ways I want to use this set so I couldn’t wait to get it.  

 This is a really quick gift set to put together – you can easily have it all done in under an hour!  So let’s get on with it, shall we?

The last video is the one for the candle.  This is always a major “WOW!” for those who have never seen how to stamp on a candle before.  It’s SO EASY and so cool – and the possibilities of all the different variations are endless!  Add a coordinating tile coaster and greeting card to your candle and your friends and family will be beyond impressed with your talents! And then THEY can enjoy the passing of time too, with your thoughtful gifts!

I’ve got a few more hours of work to do today and then I’m heading outside, to play in my yard. I’ve got a slew of flowers to plant (red geraniums, bleeding hearts, cosmos) and whole bunch of herbs to put in planters.  I’ve got to take advantage of the blue sky and sunshine that’s trying to peek through – which is nice to see, after all the RAIN we’ve had!  Then I’m off to our “Serene Stampers” Stamping Night/Team Meeting!  It’s a ton of fun!
