“From Our House to Yours” Interactive Spinner Card – VIDEO

December 21, 2019 1 Comment

Hi Friends! I’ve been itchin’ to make this video for you! Today I’m sharing a technique for making spinner cards. I recently received a gorgeous Christmas card from a dear friend of mine (thank you, Geraldine!) and it really WOWED me! I’d never seen a spinner card before and if you haven’t either, you’ll love how easy & fun these are to make. The inspiration for this card comes directly from Jana’s Paperdreams – a wonderful Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Germany (thank you Jana!). My card is cased from Jana’s, with my own tweaks and changes. Don’t you just love how we can inspire each other with our projects? The stamping community is a wonderful one, that’s for sure. So without further ado, here’s my video for you:

I hope you give this spinner card a try! I wanted to make a few more samples for you, using different stamp sets, but honestly, I was too tired (it’s that time of year LOL). But I can’t wait to make some more spinner cards using flowers, animals and characters and definitely with the Snow Front stamp set! I also have some new stamp sets from the 2020 Sale-a-bration and Mini Catalogues that would work great for spinner cards. So I plan on doing some stamping over the holidays and I’ll be sure to share some photos of the finished spinner cards here on my blog for you.

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

Looks so much fun. I'll have to refer back to this when I attempt mine. I love making cards that put a smile on someone's faces and this is sure to do the trick.
