Hi Friends! Here is a card that members of my “Stamp Club Express” made this month. They loved it! It’s so cute. It’s always a ‘wow’ when you’re masking something on your cards, I think. There’s something kinda exciting when you peel away the mask or post it note to reveal your images in a new way. On this card the reveal was having the little snowpeople suddenly ‘appear’ outside the window! FUN!! The icicles are also a ‘cool’ way to add “WOW” to your cards too.
Here are another couple of cards I made:
Sometimes my husband will even help me which makes it even more special because we’re creating fun Christmas memories together. And speaking of husband, here’s his favourite Christmas recipe that makes fabulous a gift – just package up and tuck into a nice mug!
Ingredients
- 2 cups powdered non-dairy coffee creamer
- 1 1/2 cups instant hot chocolate mix
- 1 1/2 cups instant coffee granules
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
- In a
large bowl, stir together the coffee creamer, hot chocolate mix,
instant coffee, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. Store in an airtight
container at room temperature. - To make 1
cup, spoon 2 heaping tablespoons of the mix into a coffee mug, and add
1 cup of boiling water. Stir until dissolved.
personal gifts with a handmade touch. “It’s the thought that counts” or so the
saying goes. And it’s never more true than when the gift is homemade. Why?
Because you can make it special and just for the recipient. And while you are
making it, guess what you’re doing? Thinking about the person that you are
making it for! I always say this because it’s true when you’re making cards too! Do you need some ideas of what you could make?
So grab a cup of cocoa (or Camp Coffee!), put on some seasonal
music and create your own handcrafted holidays.
HAPPY STAMPING!
