Fun Foam Leather Technique

February 2, 2015 1 Comment

Hi! On my last post I shared a technique for Faux Leather, using versamark and clear embossing powder – this is my friend Michele’s favourite technique! Now today I’ll show you one of my favourite techniques, also a faux leather, but this time using fun foam! Fun foam can purchased at most craft stores and I’ve even found it at some $1 stores (love to get a deal!).  Make sure to get the tan coloured foam – I find it works the best!

We’re in for a snow storm tonight – could get anywhere up to 30cm. We’ve actually fared quite well this winter. We’re definitely not dealing with as much snow as we did when we lived in New Brunswick (when all is said and done with this storm, our friends in NB will have gotten over 100cm in some areas!).  The beauty of living in Nova Scotia is being closer to the ocean, making temperatures a bit more mild. Having said that though, it was -21 this morning and now it’s a balmy -12.  Did I ever mention that I really don’t like being cold????? Must be the Leo in me – us Lions need to bask in the warmth of the sun! How many days until summer????

HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

The dogs seem to be oblivious to the cold. Nice time you're having.
