Fun with Nature Walk!

April 28, 2011 Leave a Comment

Hi Everyone! Had a super fun time last night at my “Nature Walk Class”.

We all just loved the cards and the co-ordinating card box. I purchased this tutorial from Sandi MacIver and it’s truly lovely.  We made 4 cards along with the box, using the Nature Walk Stamp Set, Water Color Wonder Crayons and the ‘masking’ technique. Here are some photos for you:

Everything has been pre-cut (and even SCORED) for the ladies

Everyone’s pre-ordered stamps, Water Crayons & Aqua Painters are here and even a little chocolate (and strawberries)!

 I’m ready to rumble!

April, Beth, Michele, Cathy, Kathy & Shelly.  GREAT ladies and WONDERFUL friends.  We had a super time stamping and enjoying our time together.  Everyone LOVED their cards and boxes and we all agreed that this project would be PERFECT for gift giving (especially with Mother’s Day coming up!)

If you haven’t yet tried the Water Color Crayons, you’ve got to give them a go.  They’re AWESOME!
I also made up my April Thank You cards to tuck into my customer’s orders.  I used the ‘Four Frames’ set from the ‘Spring is Blossoming’ promotion.

Finally, I cased a 6×6 page (courtesy Meg Loven) for a sample scrapbook page to tuck into a catalogue for a new customer that loves scrapbooking.  It was 1:30am when I made this and I was beyond tired! I had this page complete within 15 minutes (and that includes the printing of the picture).  Just goes to show that it doesn’t have to take forever to make a lovely card or scrapbook page – especially if you start of by copying a sample online or from the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalogue! Then you can tweak it to make it your own!  This 6×6 page was made with the Nature Walk stamp set and the butterflies & textured background were made with my Big Shot.

Have a great day & HAPPY STAMPING!

AvatarI joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
