“Ghoulish Goodies” Frightfully Good Friend Cards

September 24, 2020 1 Comment

Hi Friends! I’ve been making more cards using the “Ghoulish Goodies” stamp set!

I kept these cards quite simple and used the ‘Rock and Roll’ technique to stamp the birdcage. Inks used were Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss. I then used my Basic Black Marker to go over the bird.

I drew a little line with my ruler from the birdcage to the top of edge of the Crumb Cake card stock layer. I broke open the new “Metallic Mesh” ribbon, my first time using it, to add a bow at the top of the birdcage. This ribbon is SO COOL! I love it!

I cut each piece of “Magic in this Night” Designer Series Paper to measure 4″ x 5 1/4″ – you sure get a great variety of cards using all the different patterns!

Just a little stamping to make the inside of the card cute! I added a bit of Granny Apple Green to the cat’s eyes – love how the green makes them pop!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

Lovely, lovely work Tina. I've been eying this set too, but decided not to as I received Halloween stamps for DT work. The rock and roll technique really is beautiful.
