Giggle Greetings Birthday

Giggle Greetings is such a fun stamp set to play with, so I knew it was the one I’d use for this birthday card. I’m actually terrible for getting birthday cards out on time so I’m determined to improve that. I’m building up my card stash and organizing them all according to the occasion so that I have cards ready to sign and send. I’ve got a box with dividers and all the cards are going in that. If I were REALLY organized, I’d have the envelopes addressed and stamped too. Maybe one day. *wink*

To make this
card I stamped the cat on a piece of Designer Series Paper (from the
Thankful Tablescape Kit) and cut it out. Then I stamped the cat onto a
piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and glued the DSP kitty on top.
This is called Paper Piecing. I wanted the eyes to ‘pop’ up so I rolled
up a glue dot to raise them. So caaa-ute! (The inside reads: “the more you have the more you want to gag.” HA!

Other supplies used: Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper, Pear Pizzaz 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon, Black Stazon Ink, Crumb Cake Marker, Pink Pirouette Marker, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin’ Pierce Mat.
