“Handsomely Suited” Card Tutorial

Here’s a card that features a sneak peek of the new “Handsomely Suited Bundle”, which is part of the “Well Suited Suite”, available January 5th, in our new Mini Catalogue!

Measurements:

  • Night
    of Navy: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”, roughly a 3 ½’
    x 5” scrap

  • Well
    Suited Designer Series Paper: 5-1/4” x 4”, ½” x 4”

  • Whisper
    White: 5-1/4” x 4” (Inside of card) & scrap for buttons

Instructions:

  • Using
    the collar die, center at the very top of the 5-1/4” x 4” Well
    Suited Designer Series Paper. Run through the Stampin’ Cut &
    Emboss Machine.

  • Adhere
    the
    5-1/4”
    x 4” Well Suited Designer Series Paper to the Night of Navy Card
    Base.

  • Run
    the following dies through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
    at the same time: Whisper White scrap with the buttons dies &
    the Night of Navy scrap with the pocket, collar & long strip
    dies. For a layered look, you can run the pocket through a 2
    nd
    time with the Night of Navy. Cut just the stitched top of the 2
    nd
    pocket and glue to the top of the 1
    st
    pocket.

  • Using
    dimensionals, adhere the collar to the top of the shirt.

  • Cut
    the Night of Navy strip to 2” and glue at center of collar. Glue
    down the 3 white buttons with the
    Multipurpose
    Liquid Glue onto blue strip.

  • Stamp
    the sentiment A Happy Birthday To You with Versamark on to a scrap
    of Night of Navy, add white embossing powder & heat with Heat
    Tool.
    Punch
    out with the
    Tailored
    Tag Punch
    .

  • Using
    dimensionals, adhere the tag to the lower left corner.

  • Inside
    of Card – Stamp You’re the best with the Night of Navy Ink on to
    the top of the Whisper White

  • Misc.– Stampin’ Emboss Powder White (109132); Tailored Tag Punch (145667); Stampin’ Seal (152813); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Paper Snips (103579); Heat Tool (129053)
