Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!

I am so glad that I am a Canadian – I love my country. As much as I love, love, LOVE to travel, it always feels so good to land back onto Canadian soil. This is truly a beautiful country with friendly people and I appreciate the freedoms that we have. I recently read an article about Libya in the recent Oprah magazine, called “Leaving Libya: How I Learned to Appreciate Everything I’d Taken for Granted” and it was a real eye opener. We are SO LUCKY that we don’t have to live like many other people do, under fear and with no rights and NO FREEDOM. Yes, we are blessed, that’s for sure. So let’s CELEBRATE and show our patriotism today! WOO HOO! We’ve got our Canadian Flags up on our house (and my hubby’s Saint George flag too!) and we’re going to go for a country drive and admire the scenic backroads of this pretty province …

and then treat ourselves to a nice breakfast at our favorite truck stop (y’all know that’s where the GOOD food is, right?!)…..

I’m really excited today too because today our NEW 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue is out! And it’s absolutely fantastic!
