Happy Easter!

April 13, 2009 1 Comment

Here comes Peter Cottontail…..

I hope you’ve been enjoying your Easter celebrations. We spent it with friends – which was very nice. Speaking of Easter and friends, check out the mega adorable cards my friend Susan made:

Too flippin’ CUTE! Susan lives back home, in British Columbia, and I miss stamping with her. She is hands down one of my very favorite inspirations – I LOVE her style! Hopefully she doesn’t mind me posting her pics! *wink* But her goodies simply must be shared! Even her mother’s quilts provide design ideas for her cards (I’ll post those photos too, when I can find them…).

Another big inspiration with her creations is my friend Rhonda. Look at the GORGEOUS candle gift sets she made:

Looooooooove it! As I’m sure the lucky recipients did too!

One of the things I just adore about Stampin’ Up! is the coordination of stamps, paper and colors – even their punches coordinate with their stamp sets. As you can see from the photos above, coordination is KEY when making your projects. If you’ve not yet bookmarked this link, you might want too. It’s a great tool for choosing colors that coordinate together.

HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

    WOW!! Those projects are amazing!
So many ideas. Can’t wait to learn how to make the candles.
