Happy Tails Card

January 24, 2019 1 Comment

Hi Friends! If you have dogs like I do, then you completely understand that they ARE a part of the family. I can not imagine my world with my hounds (I have two).  Having LOTS of doggy photos I want to scrapbook, I knew I had to get my hands on the new “Happy Tails” bundle from the Occasions catalogue:

This is such a fun bundle to play with. Today’s card is the first project made with these stamps and punch – as well as the new Be Mine Stitched dies:

These dies are AWESOME and I really love them! I bought as part of the “Meant to Be” bundle:

To make my card, I simply cut some Cherry Cobbler cardstock with one of the large heart dies and glued to a Crumb Cake card base. Next, I stamped the sentiment and paw print with Versamark ink and embossed with white. The dog was stamped with Crumb Cake and after punching it out I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to the card. This card doesn’t get any easier than that, but I sure like how it turned out:

On that note, I’m actually off to the vet this morning – Rosey needs a little check up and some tests done. Poor Rosey does NOT like going to the vet’s office. Nothing terrible has ever happened to her there but boy, she’s a firecracker when she’s at the vet! The roads are also slick with both ice and slushy snow so I’d best get an early start on my drive (especially with my precious cargo). Back tomorrow with a new video for you – have a great day!

Thanks for stopping by ~ I hope you were inspired by today’s project and that you’ll visit again soon!

Enjoy the day & HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

Indeed dogs are so special. I used to have two 3 lb white chihuahas. They were like my children. This is a very nice card.
