HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

February 14, 2011 Leave a Comment

Hi Everyone! Happy Valentine’s Day!

My hubby went to work today, with a couple of surprises tucked inside his lunch bag. One, was his favorite magazine and the other was this little treat container, filled with Hershey’s Cherry Kisses!

I made this container with my Big Shot and the Bag with Scallops die – I got this die for a steal of deal on the Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack and I LOVE it!!!

Here’s the Valentine’s card that I made for my Sweetheart – I’ll give it to him tonight, along with a book I bought him.

It’s the little details that make a difference. These tags were made with the Tiny Tags stamp set and coordinating Jewelery Tag punch. Aren’t they darling?

The image is from the ‘Greeting Card Kids‘ stamp set. LUV this set! I colored the little girl with my watercolor crayons and blender pen. Then I used the 2 1/2″ circle punch and the Scallop Circle Die (twice – once in red and then again in vanilla to put behind it) with my Big Shot. I used the crop-a-dile to punch circles around the scallop for the vanilla to show through. I debated making a somewhat ‘man-ly’ Valentine card but changed my mind….

….there ain’t NOTHIN’ “man-ly” about it! But it’s FULL OF MY LOVE!

I hope your day is FILLED with love too!

HAPPY STAMPING!

PS: HEY! I just found this card in my mailbox! This beautiful Valentine was given to me by my dear friend and fellow SU Demonstrator, Rhonda. Thank you, Rhonda! You made my day! xxoo

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
