Hi Friends! I hope you enjoyed Frenchie’s “Passport Pals” post yesterday.  She always has such fun projects to share.  And thank you, Frenchie, for your kind words too – I appreciate your friendship and all your support this past year. xo

Today’s card is one I made for a friend of mine, who is also in my ‘Serene Stampers’ demonstrator group. I am smitten with the “Hey There Buds” stamp so I wanted to use that on her card.  I know it’s nothing fancy but I’m just having so much fun with this stamp.

Supplies Used:
Table built using Stampin’ Up! Product Table Builder from The Crafty Owl.
To make this card I simply used my markers directly on the stamp.
Couldn’t be easier.  Then I rounded the corners with the Project Life
punch (#135346) and ran the edges through the Texture Boutique Machine with the Delicate Designs
embossing folder.

I thought I’d share a photo of what it looked like while I was making this card this morning:

Yup, that is Lewis, aka “Craftroom Cat”, keeping me company and sleeping on my feet while I cut my card stock.  He’s such a big help, isn’t he?

Lewis has taken a liking to my new stamp studio and seems to be in here all the time.  So if you ever get a card from me with a bit of fur, my apologies.  But now you know why.  Speaking of stamp studio – wait until you see what I’ve done with it! I’ll post some photos for you next week.  It’s definately my ‘happy place’!

If you have a moment, be sure to click on the links at the top of this post to see the new Blendabilities video (totally awesome) and there are some great savings with the Weekly Deals and DSP.

Have a nice weekend (Happy 4th of July to all my American friends) and HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
