Just a quick post to let you know I’m alive and kickin’ – just been beeeezzzyyy! Hey! Check out this super fun card I made using the Medallion Stamp:
I made this card for my Aunt Gerri’s birthday – and I must say, it’s one of my most favorite cards. The ‘Kindred Spirits‘ stamp is from the set with the same name. My Aunt Gerri and I truly are ‘Kindred Spirits’ and I wish we didn’t live so far apart as I sure do miss seeing her. Aunt Gerri has been a crusader with the battle against non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. My Aunt Gerri is an inspiration to me. She has her ups and downs and I am sure some days she just wants to stay in bed all day – but she keeps on truckin. And for that, I am immensely GRATEFUL. I still have HOPE. Hope Happens. Check out my Aunt’s link here.
Now, how to make this here card is like this – stamp image with white craft ink and then simply color with Stampin’ Pastels and a Q-tip (or cotton balls). That’s it! So easy and I LOVED the result!
Another card I made that was fun, and was custom ordered, and was using my all time fav stamp set: Oriental Paintings. I’ve had this stamp set for YEARS and I just love creating with it. Again, I used my “Stampin’ Pastels”, also embossing in gold, embelished with beads and gold twine. I also used my “Kanji” set – another long time favorite stamp set.
HAPPY STAMPING!
