Honey Bee Card Tutorial

Supply:
  • Stamp
    Sets:

    Honey Bee Bundle (153792)
  • Card
    Stock:

    Whisper White (100730); Daffodil Delight (119683); Basic Black
    (121045)
  • Stamp
    Pads:

    Memento Pad (132708); Daffodil Delight (147094)
  • Misc:
    Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker (100082); Clear Wink of Stella
    Glitter Brush (141897); Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin’ Blends
    (144585); Dimensionals (104430); Snail Adhesive (104332)
Measurement:
  • Daffodil
    Delight: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” – this will be your
    card base
  • Basic
    Black: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
  • Whisper
    White: 3 ¾” x 5” and scrap for the beehive and small bee
Instructions:

  1. Stamp
    the beehive onto the whisper white scrap using daffodil ink.
  2. Die
    cut it using the coordinating die.
  3. Stamp
    the greeting using memento ink onto the white layer.
  4. Add
    the beehive below the greeting using dimensionals.
  5. Stamp
    one of the small bees onto the white layer and another onto a scrap
    of white.
  6. Colour
    them in using the daffodil delight stampin’ blends marker.
  7. Add
    a bit of wink of stella to the wings for some shimmer.
  8. Die
    cut the one bee using the coordinating die.
  9. Add
    it to the card front using dimensionals.
  10. Draw
    the flight path using the fine tip of the stampin’ write marker.
  11. Add
    the white layer to the center of the black cardstock and that to the
    center of the card front.
