Joyous Noel Cocoa Holders

September 25, 2018 1 Comment

Hi Friends! I recently made a whole bunch of cocoa holders for the ladies who attended my Holiday Retreat this month. I followed a wonderful tutorial by the lovely Angie Juda, which you can see here. These holders were super quick to put together! I used the new Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper and friends, this paper is a show-stopper! Absolutely gorgeous!

I used Copper Foil Sheets for the circles and the Sincerely Santa stamp set for the sentiment.

Our new Merry Merlot (which is the colour of the card stock I used on the cocoa holders) is probably one of my all-time favourite colours. The photos don’t do it justice – it’s just so rich and lovely. Of course, it also matches our Designer Series Paper, and that colour coordination is one of the best parts about our Stampin’ Up! product.

Well friends, that’s it for me – I’ve got a full day ahead of stacking wood…
There’s another massive pile of the cut and split wood that also needs to be stacked. A total of eight cords worth. I stacked wood for over five hours yesterday and let me tell ya, I’m feeling it! LOL
We also had our first frost this past weekend *ugh*, so I picked the rest of my garden. I was hoping to let the tomatoes ripen on the the vines but decided to not take the chance of losing them all to the cold mornings. So I’ve got a ton of canning to do. I made Bread and Butter pickles night before last and hope to do up my beets later today (after the wood stacking!). I’m going to layer the tomatoes in paper and let them ripen a bit more before I turn them into salsa and other yummy goodness. Now then, what am I going to do with all that zucchini????
Have a great day!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
