Hi Friends. Today’s card is a quick and easy one, just using the basic supplies: inks, stamps and paper. The butterfly and sun were inked using the “Rock n’Roll Technique”, in which you simply ink the stamp solid with a light colour, then roll the edges of the stamp onto a darker ink pad. This is what gives the two different tones on the images. Alternatively, you could use markers directly onto the stamps if you don’t have the colours you want to use in ink pads.
The background on the Crumb Cake card base was made with the “Hardwood” stamp, inked with Sahara Sand. To finish the card I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise the stamped image (which measures 4 3/4″ x 2 3/4″). A little bakers twine and a rhinestone for some bling and this card was completed, start to finish, in under 10 minutes.
