Let it Ride Card Tutorial

Supplies:
  • Stamp Sets – Let It Ride (148765)
  • Card Stock – Early Espresso (119686); Very Vanilla (101650); Wood Textures DSP (144177)
  • Stamp Pads – Early Espresso (147114); Pacific Point (147098); Tranquil Tide (147146)
  • Misc. – Crumb Cake Blender Pens(144601); Stitched Shapes Framelits (145372); Layering Square Framelits (141708); Dimensionals (104430); Mini Glue Dots (103633); (Linen Thread(104199); 3/16” Braided Linen Thread (147808)
Measurements:
  • Early Espresso: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 ¼” 5 ¼” x 6” scored at 2” and 4”
  • Very Vanilla: 5 ¼” x 4”, 1 ¾” x 5 ¼” and 4” x 2 ½” scrap
  • Wood DSP: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
  • Linen Thread 3 pieces 9” each
  • Braided Linen Thread 1 2” piece
Instructions:
  1. Score 5 ½ x 8 ½” Early Espresso piece at 4 ¼” (folded in half).
  2. Line up on the front of Early Espresso card the Very Vanilla piece and Wood DSP piece. Then place the Square framelit centered at the top and run through the Big Shot.
  3. Glue down the Very Vanilla and Wood DSP piece to the front of Early Espresso card front (with the square hole in front).
  4. Glue the Wood DSP square to the Early Espresso square.
  5. Cut the Very Vanilla square down to 2 5/8” square. Stamp trees in Tranquil Tide and sponge TT on the bottom of VV piece. Then sponge Pacific Point on the top half of VV piece.
  6. On 2 ½” x 4” VV piece stamp horse in Early Espresso. Colour horse with Crumb Cake Blender pens and fussy cut. Stamp saying in Early Espresso then cut out with stitched oval framelit.
  7. Adhere horse to sponged VV piece with dimensionals. Then glue VV to DSP square piece.
  8. Knot the 3 strands of Linen Thread. Braid and then knot other end. Roll in a circle and tie with braided linen thread.
  9. Glue scored piece of Early Espresso to the inside of card with Valley fold Mountain fold. Line up square piece with the horse on it in square hole on the front of card and glue to folded piece on inside of card.
  10. Stamp inside saying on 1 ¾” x 5 ¼” piece of VV and glue to inside Early Espresso folded piece.
  11. Adhere stitched oval to front of the card with dimensionals. Adhere lasso to oval with a glue dot.
