Love What You Do Thank You Card Tutorial

  • Love
    What You Do

  • Stamp
    Pads:

    Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)
  • Paper:
    Very Vanilla (101650), Basic Black (121045)
  • Misc.:
    Lovely
    Floral 3D Dynamic Embossing Folder (148048), Layering Oval Framelits
    Dies (141706), Stitched Shape Framelits Dies (145372), Big Shot
    Die-Cutting Machine (143263), ½” Lace Trim Very Vanilla (141672),
    SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Dimensionals (104430)



Measurements:


  • Basic
    Black: 4” x 5 ½”, 1 ¾” x 2 ¾”
  • Very
    Vanilla: 1 ¾” x 2 ¾”, 3 ¾” x 5”, 5 ½” x 8 ½”
  • ½”
    Lace Trim: 5”
Instructions:
  1. Emboss
    the 3 ¾” x 5” Very Vanilla card stock with the Lovely Floral 3D
    Dynamic Embossing folder – use the platform with no adapter and
    just one cutting pad.
  2. Stamp
    the word “Thank You” in black ink on the small vanilla piece.
  3. Use the
    Oval Stitched Shape die to cut out the “Thank You” sentiment.
  4. Use the
    coordinating scalloped oval die to cut out the layering piece from
    the smallest Basic Black cardstock piece.
  5. Adhere
    the two ovals together with SNAIL adhesive.
  6. Place
    two dimensionals on the back of the layered ovals – one at the top
    and one at the bottom.
  7. Fold the
    card base and attach the 4” x 5 ½” layer of Basic Black
    cardstock with SNAIL.
  8. Wrap the
    lace trim around the upper portion of the embossed piece and secure
    with SNAIL.
  9. Adhere
    the embossed piece to the black layer on the card base.
  10. Peel the
    backing pieces off of the Dimensionals and attach the layered ovals
    over the lace trim.
  11. Give
    this card to a someone you would like to thank!
