Hi Friends! Over the next three days, I’ll be sharing with you the cards that we made at my “All Occasion Card Class” last week. This “Lovely Lily Pad” card is one them. The inspiration for this card came from one I’d seen that my friend Julie had made, which you can see here. I used the beautiful “Parisian Beauty” Designer Series Paper and colour scheme for my card.
Here is the same card, in which I simply reversed the die cut and used a different DSP pattern:
We used the ‘thanks’ sentiment from the “Sending You Thoughts” stamp set for our little banners.
Note: we embossed the flowers and lily pads on our cards! Gotta use the Stamparatus for this! First, we stamped the flower with Cherry Cobbler ink and the lily pad (outline image) with Garden Green ink. Next, we cleaned the stamps and re-stamped again, this time with Versamark, then sprinkled on some clear embossing powder and set with the heat tool. This is a great way to create embossed images, no matter what colour of ink you’re using!

Enjoy the day & HAPPY STAMPING!
