Happy Friday! Another week has come and gone. The days sure go by quickly, don’t they? Thanks to those of you asking after Cooper. His surgery went well and while he’s not 100% back to himself yet, he’s doing good. We’ll get results on the lump that was removed from his neck in a couple of weeks. Thinking positive and sending up prayers for my little muppet!
We’ve got another snowstorm on the way today. Apparently, this is to be the most significant one so far this winter. Our winter has been abnormally mild. In fact, this week I noticed that my hostas are poking through and I had a couple of tulips or daffodils (not sure which) up a couple of inches. I covered them up with more dirt and told them to go back to sleep for a few months. I even had rhubarb shooting up and my hollyhocks are also sprouting new leaves. What the heck? As much as I don’t like winter, I don’t like my plants waking up too early either. I feel like our seasons have moved a month.
Due to the snowstorm, I rushed to get today’s video finished, in case we lose our internet. So I didn’t take the time to film a wee introduction, as I like to do. I just dove right into the stamping and of course, I had a LOT of fun creating my card.
The stamps I’m featuring today are the “Beautifully Happy” Sale-a-bration set and the “Covered in Sunshine” set. I also used my stamparatus, markers and ink pads for the technique, which is easy peasy. I really love how the inks blend together when misted with water as well as the combination of colours on the sentiment. I hope you enjoy today’s demonstration!
Product ListIn hindsight, I wish that I used my blender pen to remove the pink ink before using my green marker on the words. However, I am still pleased with the finished card.
The colour combination of the Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, and greens look so pretty on this card!
The snow has started so I’m going to finish up work, then have a ‘snow day’ and take the afternoon off. This weekend I plan on doing a major tidy-up and house cleaning and reorganizing my canning and pantry shelves. Whatever your plans are for the weekend, I hope you have a good one!
Take care & HAPPY STAMPING!
